Product Description
Noordin offers custom EMI/RFI shielding gaskets made from expanded silicone or fluorosilicone sponge, reinforced with knitted metal wire mesh (e.g., Monel, stainless steel, or tin-plated copper). The metal mesh is mechanically and chemically bonded to the surface or edge of the sponge to provide both high electrical conductivity and outstanding compressibility.
Compared to solid conductive rubber, these combination gaskets offer softer compression, greater resilience, and better performance for uneven surfaces or low-pressure mounting environments. The sponge core ensures excellent environmental sealing, while the outer mesh delivers robust EMI/RFI shielding, even in demanding environments.
Custom sizes, thicknesses, profiles, and mounting methods (including adhesive backing or fastener-friendly shapes) are available to meet a wide range of design and regulatory requirements.
